Sylarri helps you keep track of your courses. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Your account: your school email, the name you give us, and your time zone.
  • What you upload: syllabi, slides, notes, readings, homework, and photos of them.
  • What the app makes from them: due dates, grading breakdowns, practice questions, study plans, and your answers.
  • Your chats with the assistant.
  • Devices you turn the morning brief on for (a push token or browser push subscription).
  • Usage events, such as "uploaded a syllabus" or "confirmed dates." These are tied to a random account ID, never your name or email, and help us see which features work.

How we use it

Only to run the app for you: read your syllabi, put confirmed dates on your calendar, answer your questions, make practice from your own materials, and send the brief you asked for. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it

  • Supabase: database, file storage, and sign-in.
  • Vercel: hosting.
  • Anthropic (Claude): reads your documents and chats to produce answers. It doesn't train on them.
  • Voyage AI: turns passages of your materials into search vectors.
  • Inngest: runs background jobs.
  • Expo and Apple or Google: deliver push notifications.
  • PostHog: usage events.

What's private

Your uploaded files, chats, and practice are visible only to you. Your calendar feed shows only dates you've confirmed, to anyone who has its secret link. You can reset the link in Settings at any time.

Your choices

  • Turn off the morning brief, or reset your calendar link, in Settings.
  • Delete your account in Settings. This permanently removes your courses, dates, files, chats, and practice right away.
  • Questions: email us at hello@sylarri.com.
